Remedial Massage
Most people suffer from soreness at some time. Remedial massage reaches damaged muscles. It stimulates circulation, increases lymphatic flow, helps break up fibrosis that binds one muscle to another, relaxes muscle spasms, relieves pain, improves range of motion and enhances athletic performance. It is an excellent massage if you are recovering from an injury or have pain / tension. Pressure is customised to suit your needs.

Cupping - Traditional & Modern
Cupping Therapy has been used for over 5000 years! Cupping uses specially designed cups, which are placed on the skin to form a suction. This suction affect helps to stimulate the flow of blood and draw toxins out of the body. It has been used to treat various conditions such as arthritic pain, hip & shoulder dysfunction, muscle soreness, headaches as well as common coughs and colds.
As a massage therapist I have found cupping to be one of the most effective and at the same time relaxing ways to ease muscle stress and tension. In my practice I use the traditional glass cups and modern silicone cups. Depending on the type of condition being treated the cups may be left stationary or moved around. Cupping should not hurt. If it does, the suction may be too strong, which I can easily adjust to make sure you are comfortable during the entire treatment.
Cupping can leave round marks on your skin which are discoloured. This is not a bruise. The discoloured marks are considered the expression of stuck energy, stagnant fluid and inflammation from an old injury. Many clients say these are their "Badges of Healing." Keep in mind that the darker the mark the more work the cup did for healing you. The marks will fade in a few days.
Some of the Benefits of Cupping loosens and releases adhesions, relaxes the nervous system, breaks up and expels congestion and toxins, moves and drains excess fluids, promotes the flow of lymphatic fluid, stretches and releases muscles and soft tissue, reduces inflammation, provides deep tissue work without discomfort.
Why not give Cupping a go? Blended with different massage techniques, you will be amazed at how great you feel.
